First post for 2015!
Unfortunately 2014 didn't end with as much stitching completed as I hoped buuuuuut I intent to make up for that with my remaining holiday time. Especially given that January will probably be full of new starts. Firstly there is the Glendon Place SAL which I will be stitching the Plum Pudding design for. I have received my silks and fabric (I'm using opalescent Wintered Marble from Stitches and Spice) but I'm still waiting for the chart. Sadface. However I did also buy myself a Christmas Treat of the Red Velvet Cake chart, silks and fabric from Picture This Plus so worse comes to worse I will do it for the SAL instead.
The HAP SAL I'm not as worried about as 90% of the projects I have fit this category. I'll probably stick to working on my Super Mario World Map for it given it's the biggest I have at the moment at 520 x 512 stitches.
Speaking of Mario World - I'm oh so close to a page finish! Only about 1000 stitches of ocean and waves before page 2 of 20 is complete! As this is just the two colours it should only take a few eps of binge watching TV to get it finished. I shall post photos once it's done.
As for my other WIPS, there hasn't been too much progress. Around the World in 80 Stitches has to have some of the ray stitches and lazy daisies unpicked and redone as I can't count and stitched a few in the wrong place. In anger I gave up on the left heart and moved to the Scotch stitches in the right-hand heart.
I haven't touched my poor neglected kitty HAED, but I did kit him out completely between Christmas and New Year
In closing I just need to mention Stitch From Stash. Simply because it's a day in and already it's stopping me from madly buying charts I want but really don't need. Part of me is glad about this, the other part is all NOOOOO I WANT NEW STUFF!!!
Lets see how long the willpower lasts...
